Episode 95 – Going Back To The Futurians with Clifford Meth!

by Chris Thompson

With Clifford Meth …

Following on from last week’s chat with rising talent Steve Orlando (which you can still listen to here), this time around I welcome back veteran writer, journalist and comics campaigner Clifford Meth to discuss his new Kickstarter campaign for Dave Cockrum’s Futurians!

Cliff and I discuss what he learned from his previous Kickstarter for Comic Book Babylon, how they’ve approached things differently this time around, why now was the right time to bring The Futurians back, and how both his writing and his role have changed over time.

Episode 73 – Comic Book Babbling On with Clifford Meth!

by Chris Thompson

With Clifford Meth …

Following on from a series of epic new year podcasts – including last week’s chat with the talented Fred Van Lente (which you can listen to here) – this time around I have the pleasure of speaking with writer, journalist and comics campaigner Clifford Meth!

Cliff and I talk about his background in and out of comics, the debt we owe all the creators who came before, the state of comics journalism today, and what made now the right time to finally release Comic Book Babylon. It’s a fascinating discussion with a guy who has been in the trenches for a long time and counts people like Harlan Ellison as friends.
