Episode 120 – With Georgia Webber & Breakdown Press!

by Chris Thompson

With Georgia Webber & Breakdown Press …
As a follow-up to our memories of Angoulême (which you can still listen to here), we continue our coverage of this year’s Festival by checking in with Georgia Webber (creator of The Dumb Project) as well as Orbital alumni, Simon & Tom, who are the brains behind the excellent Breakdown Press.
Georgia and I discuss how The Dumb Project came to be, what it was like losing her voice, the ways in which she’s learned to deal with that, and how she found Angoulême BD Festival as a first-time attendee.
Then Simon, Tom and I chat about their experience tabling at Angoulême for the first time. We look at how their publishing roster has grown, the response they’ve had so far, and take a peek at what’s coming up next.
